Every time you scoop the poop, you make a difference!

Pet waste left on the ground doesn’t just disappear. Rain carries bacteria, nutrients, and other pollutants into storm drains, streams, rivers, and the ocean. Pet waste contains harmful bacteria and excess nutrients that affect water quality wildlife, and public health.

The good news? The solution to this pollution is simple. By picking up after your pet and disposing of waste properly, you help keep our water clean, protect parks and open spaces, reduce pollution, and create a healthier environment for everyone to enjoy. It’s a small action that makes a big impact.

Are you ready to make a difference? Take the Scoop it Pledge and join fellow pet owners in helping keep our communities and waterways clean.

Together, we can make an impact.

Every pledge helps demonstrate community support for cleaner parks, healthier waterways, and responsible pet ownership across the North Shore.

New Scoop it Outreach Materials

Our updated Scoop It rack cards and flyers are now available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. They’re a great resource for municipalities, community organizations, and local events looking to promote responsible pet waste disposal and protect clean water.

Need Direct Messaging In Your Community?

We also offer metal pet waste signs and sidewalk stencils to help reinforce responsible pet waste disposal in high-use areas. Sidewalk stenciling is a great way to test whether on-the-ground messaging is effective in a known problem area before investing in permanent signage.
