The Greenscapes Massachusetts Coalition is a diverse group of organizations that collectively implement the program in their respective geographic regions across Massachusetts -- South Shore, North Shore, and Connecticut River Watershed. The Coalition is led by the Massachusetts Bays Estuary Association, in partnership with:
Organizational partners of the Greenscapes Coalition are the “local face” of the Greenscapes Massachusetts program. Each organization implements a customized program in their regions by collaborating with local communities, volunteers, businesses, and other partners. The regional services offered by the organizations vary depending on community funding and interest, and include workshops and presentations, distribution of materials and displays, media relations, and consultations. The cost of the regional programs is shared – nearly equally – by the organizations and the municipalities that they serve.
As the central coordinator of the Greenscapes Massachusetts Coalition, the Massachusetts Bays Estuary Association provides technical assistance to the organizational partners, and manages central services, such as the Greenscapes Guide publication, website, e-newsletter, and other outreach efforts. Organizational partners contribute annual dues to the MBEA to help with the cost of these central services.
We invite organizations tobecome a member of the Greenscapes Massachusetts Coalition and share the Greenscapes message with communities in your region. We look forward to working with you to help keep our waters clean and plentiful.
