Underwriter Policy

Greenscapes Massachusetts is a public educational program led by the Greenscapes Coalition, a partnership of non-profit organizations. To help us provide free, high-quality educational materials and public events, we rely on funding support from municipalities, grants, and underwriters. We do not accept paid advertisement and are independent of commercial obligations or influence.  

We are proud to partner with companies and organizations that demonstrate a commitment to environmental protection. Tax-deductible donations from Greenscapes Underwriters allow us to improve and expand the scope of educational programming, and further promote the Greenscapes message. 

We identify Greenscapes Underwriters for informational purposes, through various venues including the Guide, website, e-newsletter, and workshops. We may also choose to share information about special offers that Underwriters provide for the benefit of Greenscapers or the Greenscapes Coalition, if the products/services offered are consistent with the Greenscapes message.

Underwriter partnerships are not "exclusive" to any company, unless specified in a separate agreement.

All content and editorial decisions related to Greenscapes Massachusetts are the sole responsibility of the Massachusetts Bays Estuary Associaiton and the member organizations of the Greenscapes Coalition. We reserve the right to refuse an Underwriter for any reason.
