Demographics

Our primary audience is homeowners seeking information about maintaining their yard and landscape. They respond to the Greenscapes message because they care about aesthetics, but also want to save time and money, and/or protect their family and the environment. .

The Greenscapes program currently targets an audience of approximately 200,000 single-family households in 38 communities in Massachusetts. Current outreach is focused on the South Shore and North Shore regions of the greater Boston Metropolitan area, as well as the Connecticut River region of western MA. Citizens from other parts of Massachusetts and New England also participate in the Greenscapes program.  We are potentially expanding the program to other areas as new organizations join the Greenscapes Coalition.
