Dispose of unused pesticides safely!

Pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides) are considered “household hazardous waste”. 

Due to their toxicity and potential to pollute water resources, it is illegal to dispose of unwanted pesticides in the trash and you must take them to a Household Hazardous Waste collection event.

Residents may attend their own town's event at no charge, or you can usually attend another town’s event with permission from your town’s Recycling Coordinator.
